Terms of Use
Version 1.0 • Effective Date: August 2, 2026 • Guidelines governing platform usage and voting integrity
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using our E-Voting platform (the "Service"), whether as an accredited voter, candidate, or organization administrator, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Voter Accreditation & Single-Use Authorization
Access to active ballots requires valid voter accreditation. You agree to the following rules:
- Single-Use Access Tokens: Voting links and tokens issued to accredited voters are strictly one-time use and non-transferable.
- Identity Verification: You must not attempt to vote using credentials or access tokens intended for another individual.
- Duplicate Ballots: Attempting to cast multiple votes for a single accredited slot is prohibited and blocked by cryptographic constraints.
3. Prohibition of Interference & Code of Conduct
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any activity that compromises election integrity:
- Using automated scripts, bots, or automated voting tools to manipulate election turnout.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or breach zero-knowledge encryption protocols.
- Interfering with infrastructure servers via Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks.
- Falsifying accreditation data or impersonating election officials.
4. Cryptographic Ballot Integrity & Verifiable Receipts
Upon submitting your ballot, the platform issues an immutable cryptographic transaction hash and PDF voting receipt. This receipt serves as tamper-evident proof that your vote has been registered into the ballot box.
5. Intellectual Property & Service Rights
All platform logos, trademarks, software code, UI designs, and documentation belong exclusively to the platform. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or reproduction of software assets is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we maintain 99.9% platform availability and bank-grade security standards, we are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party internet service providers, local network outages, or unauthorized user credential disclosures.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use as needed to reflect platform enhancements or legal requirements. Updated terms will take effect immediately upon publication.
Compliance with these terms ensures verifiable, transparent, and fair elections for all voters.
